Perry Community Schools are on Spring Break this coming week, and to give kids something fun and educational to do during the week, the Perry Public Library is offering a series of programs focused on sharks.

Calling it their very own “Shark Week,” the library will have events for three different age groups. The first is on Monday for 2-5-year-olds. Starting at 10:30 a.m., there will be an assortment of “Baby Shark” themed games, songs and activities. The programs will continue Wednesday at 2 p.m., as 3rd-5th graders are invited to take part in some age-appropriate shark games and activities. The week will wrap up Friday at 10:30 a.m., as kids in kindergarten through 2nd grade can enjoy shark crafts, games, and even a shark piñata.

There is no cost for any of the “Shark Week” programs, and registration is not required. For more information on these and other upcoming programs, stop in or call the Perry Library at 515-465-3569.
