Tuesday, March 12th

7:24am: An officer removed a bat form the residence at 703 South Vine Street.

9:53am: A Traffic Stop was attempted at West Lincoln Way Street and Westwood Drive. The speeding vehicle did not yield until the subject reached his residence at 400 South Georgia Street. Charles Adam Bradshaw, 35 of Jefferson was cited for, “Excessive Speed 56 in 35 mph zone.”

10:08am: A caller advised of a male subject who regularly carries a handgun, without a Concealed Carry Permit. The officer is investigating.

2:31pm: A caller advised of witnessing a driver strike two parked vehicles at 106 West Washington Street and then enter the business. The officer located the driver and the owner of the two vehicles. No one involved was interested in an Accident Report. There were very minor damages to the three vehicles involved.

5:07pm: Officers were requested at 506 West Stanford Street for a Fight in Progress. The officers arrived and spoke to an employer and a few employees who had witnessed the event. The officer’s investigation led to the arrest of Jason Allen Thede, 47 of Bouton, for “Assault – Serious.”

7:51pm: Cheryl Dideriksen advised of a very slow driver on 220th Street, heading west into Jefferson. She was concerned they would cause an accident. The officer did not locate the vehicle.

8:39pm: A Traffic Stop was performed at Olive and Russell Streets resulting in Hector Vargus of Jefferson being cited for, “Fail to Have a Valid License.”
