The Guthrie Center City Council met in regular session Monday.

The meeting began with the Council approving the second readings and waiving the third readings, adopting the amended and substituted creation agreement and annual tax levy of $7,450 for the Guthrie County Regional Airport Authority. Next, the Council held a public hearing and approved a resolution to apply for $500,000 from the Community Development Block Grant program to support their clear well improvement project. Finally, the Council held a public hearing and approved the fiscal year 2020 budget, which includes a total property tax levy of $15.88 per $1,000 of valuated land property.
