Greene County boys’ basketball head coach Chris Nelson presented awards to players to wrap up the 2018-19 season. The Rams were 7-16 overall and 4-10 in the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference.

Senior Trey Hinote was named team MVP. He averaged 21.7 points per game and owns several school and overall program records.  Hinote was also named Offensive Player of the Year while juniors Nick Breon and Carter Morton shared Defensive Player of the Year Honors. Junior Cael Fisher received Most Improved Player honors while Morton was presented with the Team First Award.

Letters went to Hinote, Breon, Fisher, Morton, juniors Tyler Miller, John Rosado, Xavier Hayes, Eddie Goff, Ethan Hueser, Logan Kinsey, Joe Patterson, Skylar Ripperger, and Cole Betts. Sophomore Zach Goff also lettered.
