The Stuart City Council will meet in regular session Monday.

The meeting will begin with a public hearing for the City’s fiscal year 2020 budget, followed by a resolution to adopt it. Next, the Council will hear presentations on City property insurance renewal and on Stuart Rescue. The Council will later consider awarding a contract for street lighting on Northeast Second Street in the Wambold Addition. A resolution will also be considered to sell the property at 308 North Harrison Street and set a public hearing. The Council will then consider a contribution to Region XII Council of Governments. Finally, Mayor Dick Cook will discuss an appointment to the Historic Preservation Commission, the snow ordinance, and an asbestos removal at 512 South Summit Street.

The Council meets at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall.
