The Panora City Council will meet in regular session Monday.

The meeting will begin with discussion and possible action regarding an employee residency request. Next, the Council will hold a public hearing on a cooperation agreement for the Guthrie County Regional Airport Authority and the proposal for an ordinance providing an annual tax levy of $6,420 to the Authority. Following, the Council will consider a first reading of the agreement and tax levy, and consider suspension of the rule requiring separate consideration at three meetings and adopt the ordinance. The Council will then hold a public hearing and consider a resolution for the fiscal year 2020 budget, and consider first readings of water and sanitary sewer rate changes. Finally, the Council will consider resolutions authorizing wholesale power and operations/maintenance agreements between the City and the Guthrie County Rural Electric Cooperative Association and Central Iowa Power Cooperative. A resolution authorizing a loan agreement authorizing the call of outstanding bonds and providing for the issuance of general obligation refund bonds will also be considered.
