Tomorrow is the annual Mother/Son Date Night at the Greene County Community Center in Jefferson.

It is for any mother, grandmother or female figure to take a boy out for an evening of pizza and games. Jefferson Parks and Recreation Director Vicky Lautner talks about last year’s success. “I think we had over 100 couples there last year. So we’re looking for that again this year. We talked about maybe trying to do a dance, but I just don’t know that the boys would enjoy that, I bet the moms would probably be okay with it. But they’re more into playing and doing fun games. We just keep them busy and to have fun with moms, that’s the big thing is just for mom and son to have a night out and have a good time.”

It will be held from 6 to 8:30pm tomorrow night. Cost to attend is $20 per couple and $5 for each additional boy. Call 386-3412 or stop by the community center to sign up.
