11:38am: Durbin Automotive and Towing reported receiving a personal check from a customer that had been written fraudulently on a closed account. The officer is investigating.
2:07pm: Officers assisted the Greene County Ambulance Service with a Medical Call in the 700 Block of Wild Rose Lane.
3:15pm: Officers assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 200 Block of South Cedar Street.
4:03pm: An officer assisted the Sheriff’s Office with a Roll-Over Accident on 220th Street, just west of M Ave.
5:42pm: A deputy assisted Jefferson officers with a Two Vehicle Personal Injury Accident on 220th Street, near Grimmell Road. Donna Wolterman was heading east on 220th Street in her 2018 Hyundai Elantra. A 2004 Chevrolet Malibu, owned by Sheila Rice and operated by Anthony Rice of Paton, lost control of his vehicle and spun across the centerline in the path of Wolterman. Wolterman’s vehicle struck the passenger side of the Rice vehicle. Both drivers were extricated from their vehicles and taken by Greene County Ambulance to GCMC for injuries. Both vehicles were a total loss with $10,000.00 damage to the Rice vehicle and $15,000.00 in damages to the Wolterman vehicle. Rice was cited for, “Fail to Maintain Control.”
********** An Arrest Warrant has been requested for Joseph Mitchell Anderson, 18 of Jefferson for, “Providing Tobacco/Vape Products to a Minor 1st Offense – Simple. The charge stems from an investigation from 02/23/2019, at 507 Hillcrest Place, where officers located a juvenile in possession of vaping items. He provided information to the officer as to whom he had purchased the items from.
********** An Arrest Warrant has been requested for Shawn Robert Clark, 43 of Stuart for, “Theft 2nd Degree – D Felony. The officer’s investigation began at 777 Wild Rose Lane on 02/24/2019, when a female reported the Theft of her wallet at the casino. The wallet contained over $1000.00 in cash. Video from the facility shows Clark pick up the female’s wallet and carry it in to the restroom, before leaving the Casino.
