A pair of sophomores reached 100 points this past season for the ACGC boys basketball team. Lucas Marsh and Eli Kading are primed to help lead the gold and black next season after putting up good numbers this past year.

Marsh became just the fifth Charger in ACGC boys basketball history to record a double-double when he totaled eleven points and ten rebounds against West Central Valley. Marsh also added three assists and a steal in the 92-58 victory over the Wildcats on December 17th. He’s already cracked the top ten in program history for every major statistical category. He finishes his first varsity season with 107 points, 94 rebounds, 32 assists, 21 steals, seven three-pointers, and five blocks.

Eli Kading also reached the century mark with an even 100 points. His best game of the season came in that same West Central Valley victory, scoring a career high 13 points with two made three-pointers, two rebounds, three assists, and one steal. Kading finishes his sophomore year with 54 rebounds, 17 assists, eleven steals, 19 made three-pointers, and three blocks.

Clayton Wardyn also saw some action for the Chargers. He added six rebounds and an assist for the sophomore class this season. The sophomores totaled 207 points, 154 rebounds, 50 assists, 32 steals, 34 made three-pointers, and eight blocks. We’ll wrap up another year of Charger basketball with the highlights from the junior class tomorrow.
