A house fire is currently causing traffic to be diverted from Willis Avenue in Perry as emergency crews attempt to extinguish the blaze.
The fire is located in the 1300 block of Willis, causing the road to be blocked between 13th and 14th streets. Emergency personnel on scene reported that all residents of the house were able to escape unharmed. There is no word yet as to what caused the fire, and currently no estimate on how long it will be until it’s completely out. For the time being, motorists are advised to avoid the area and find an alternate route.
