
A more unselfish offensive style led to several open three-point opportunities this winter for the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers varsity boys basketball team. The Tigers had three players make 50 or more three-point shots this winter. Sophomore Nate Mueller is ADM’s trey king with 53 made baskets from behind the arc. Senior Koby Hardcastle and junior Jaxson Milsap chipped in 50 made three-point baskets each this season. The Tigers ranked second in the Raccoon River Conference this winter with 171 three-point shots made. Only the Carroll Tigers made more long-range shots, recording 182 made baskets from beyond the arc. ADM saw their season end on February 21 in the Class 3A Substate 7 semifinals against the Gilbert Tigers, 60-54. ADM closed the 2018-19 season with a 13-10 overall record, a ten win improvement from last year.
