New Greene County head football coach Caden Duncan was in Jefferson late Tuesday afternoon, as were his assistant coaches, to speak to football players. He’ll begin his duties in Jefferson officially when school is out, but he wants players to know some of the expectations before he officially starts working here. Strength and conditioning is continuing with assistant coaches, and he sees that as a way to build confidence.

“If it’s an expectation that we’re going to go in and be relentless and have a certain standard that we expect from ourselves, then that’s going to carry over from the weight room to everything else that they do, and not just athletics.”

Duncan is a P.E. teacher, assistant football coach, assistant track & field coach, and in charge of strength & conditioning currently in the Panorama School District. At Greene County, he’ll teach middle school P.E. and also be in charge of strength & conditioning for all students in addition to his football duties.
