The public is invited to a presidential candidate meet and greet event this weekend in Jefferson.

Marianne Williamson is running for the Democratic presidential candidacy and she will be at the Thomas Jefferson Gardens Education and Welcome Center this Saturday at 2pm. The self-help author has sold over 3 million books worldwide and in her 35-year career, she has given lectures on spiritual enlightenment and well-being. She currently has paid campaign staff in nine states.

The meet and greet event is hosted by the Greene County Democratic Party and it is free and open to the public.
