A large portion of the continued success of the Panorama Panthers varsity girls basketball program (22-2 overall) is their ability to get into the passing lanes defensively. Panorama registered a West Central Activities Conference-best 337 steals during the 2018-19 campaign. The Earlham Cardinals were the only other league member to reach 300 steals this winter. Panorama has recorded over 300 steals the previous five seasons, resulting in a 95-15 record over that timeframe. Three Panther players tallied over 50 steals this winter. Senior Bailey Beckman was Panorama’s top thief with 83 steals. Freshman Payton Beckman swiped 72 steals, while senior Morgan Johnk stole 52 possessions for Panorama. The Panorama Panthers girls basketball team closed their recent campaign with a 22-2 overall record.
