
One of the individual bright spots from this season’s West Central Valley girls basketball team was the play of freshman Madelyn Jaeger. Jager saw floor time in all 21 games this winter for the Wildcats, producing 177 points, 58 rebounds, 23 assists, and 27 steals. Her 71 percent free throw percentage was the best among Wildcat players who attempted more than 20 free throws this winter. She poured in a season-best 18 points in West Central Valley’s 49-34 victory over the AC/GC Chargers on February 7. The West Central Valley Wildcats girls basketball team closed the 2018-19 season with a 5-16 overall record.
