The rescheduled community input meeting regarding the City of Adel’s comprehensive plan is coming soon, and the public is encouraged to help guide the City over the next 20 years.
The new plan, titled “Envision Adel 2040,” will address topics such as land use, housing, commercial and industrial development, sustainability and the environment, transportation and infrastructure, parks and recreation, and community facilities and services. The public workshop will include a presentation with an overview of the planning process, in addition to a series of engagement exercises to get feedback from attendees.
The meeting will be held Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. in the community room at the Adel Public Library. If you are unable to attend the meeting, the City encourages you to take a survey regarding the comprehensive plan by clicking the link below.
