The Perry Lutheran Homes’ next meeting of their monthly Alzheimer’s and Dementia Support Group is this Tuesday, and anyone with a loved one affected by the illnesses is welcome to attend the free event.

The program will be held at 3:30 p.m. at the Perry Public Library. Attendees will receive advice on finding healthy ways to cope with the stress of caregiving, learn techniques for self-care, and discuss challenges others are facing. Additionally, you can learn more about the diseases and ways to best communicate with loved ones diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and dementia. No registration is required, and refreshments will be provided.

Perry Lutheran Homes hosts the support group on the fourth Tuesday of every month, with upcoming programs on March 26th, April 30th, May 28th, and June 25th.
