Road conditions look to be much more favorable in Guthrie County after the recent winter storm.

Guthrie County Engineer Josh Sebern says the Secondary Roads Department has been out clearing roads since 5 a.m. this morning, and according to the Iowa Department of Transportation, highways in the county are either partially covered with snow or clear. Sebern says road crews plan to work through this afternoon making sure roads are in good shape for motorists. The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office states they have not responded to any weather-related vehicle incidents since the Winter Storm Warning was issued for the county yesterday evening.
