With the winter sports season recently finished at West Central Valley Community Schools, the Raccoon Valley Radio Network wanted to spend today looking back at the recently concluded varsity girls basketball season for the Wildcats. West Central Valley posted a 5-16 overall record with eight losses coming by eight points or less. Junior Sydney Neal was the Wildcats top scorer and rebounder, registering 202 points and 204 rebounds. She also was West Central Valley’s top shot blocker with 10 swats this winter. Senior Joelle Grubbs closed her high school basketball career with a team-best 69 assists and 49 steals. Grubbs is the lone player expected to leave the program this offseason due to graduation in May.
