10:22am: Officers assisted EMS with a Medical Call in the 700 Block of Sunset Road.
1:32pm: Arlene Johnson requested assistance from officer s at 304 East Vest Street after becoming stuck at the end of her driveway. The vehicle was protruding into the street. Officers pushed the vehicle from the snow drift.
1:33pm: A Traffic Stop conducted in the 700 Block of South Elm Street resulted in Kayla Seleman of Mo. Being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
2:22pm: A Traffic Stop in the 300 Block of North Elm Street resulted in James McBride of Jefferson being cited for, “Fraudulent Use of Registration.”
5:56pm: Victoria Dawson reported a Careless Driver on 220th Street approaching Jefferson from the east. The vehicle was not located.
9:30pm: Breadueax Pizza turned in a wallet and cell phone found in the business at 109 East Lincoln Way Street.
******* Arrest Warrants have been requested for Curtis Wesley Jurgensen, 55 of Woodward for, “Possession of Controlled Substance (Marijuana) 2nd Offense – Serious.” The charge comes after items seized during a Traffic Stop on 12/16/2019 tested positive at the lab.
Thursday, February 14th
7:44am: A Traffic Stop was performed in the 700 Block of South Elm Street resulting in Ashley Henson of Jefferson being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
8:08am: An officer was in route to an Alarm Activation at 200 American Drive when the business advised it was a false alarm.
12:41pm: A caller advised of three semis parked roadside near Elm and 220th Street. The vehicles were gone when the officer arrived in the area.
2:51pm: Rich Hernandez reported a puppy running freely in the area of West Head and North Walnut Streets. The officer made contact with the animal’s owner to retrieve the animal.
3:54pm: Guthrie County requested officers to check local Motels for a vehicle that had been involved in a Domestic Situation in Guthrie County. The vehicle was not located in Jefferson.
4:30pm: Melanie Moore requested assistance in locating her juvenile daughter, who had
not come home from school. The officers located the juvenile and returned her home to her mother.
5:25pm: Melanie Moore advised her juvenile daughter had left home without permission. The officer returned the juvenile back home to her mother.
7:21pm: A Traffic Stop was performed in the 700 Block of Wild Rose Lane, which resulted in the officer arresting Karibeth Danielle Baker, 39 of Scranton for, “Driving While Revoked – Serious and Fail to Provide Proof of Financial Liability.”
Friday, February 15th
9:06am: An officer responded to 303 North Elm Street for a possible stolen vehicle. Prior to the officer arriving, the vehicle was located by the owner.
10:23am: Officers responded to the 100 block of East Central Street for a medical issue.
4:31pm: As a result of a traffic stop in the 700 block of North Elm Street, Kelley Gray of Jefferson was issued a citation for, “Excessive Speed.”
Saturday, February 16th
8:28am: As a result of a traffic stop in the 700 block of North Elm Street, Roderick Goodrich of Jefferson was issued a citation for, “Excessive Speed.”
8:54am: As a result of a traffic stop at the intersection of West Clark Street and North Pinet Street, Richard Tuhn of Grand Junction was issued a citation for, “Operating a Non-Registered Vehicle.”
12:51pm: As a result of a traffic stop at the intersection of 220th and North Grimmell Road, Krysta Jensen of Woodbine was issued a citation for, “Excessive Speed.”
1:19pm: An officer assisted a motorist at the intersection of North Elm Street and 220th Street.
3:26pm: Officers responded to 1209 Riverside Drive for a verbal dispute.
5:33pm: Billie Jo Hovick reported 2 dogs running at large in the 500 block of West Harrison Street.
5:52pm: An officer assisted with a vehicle blocking the roadway in the 100 block of South Elm Street.
8:06pm: An officer responded to 509 West State Street for a bat in the house.
8:20pm: Jo Wilson reported that her dog ran away from her residence at 602 West State Street.
9:11pm: An officer responded to the 800 block of West Lincoln Way to assist Greene County EMS with a Medical Call.
Sunday, February 17th
12:30am: An officer assisted with a motorist at the intersection of 220th Street and Flack Avenue.
12:43am: Lyndon Showman reported suspicious activity at 513 South Chestnut Street. Everything was found to be okay.
2:13pm: Officers assisted a motorist who was stuck in the snow in the 1300 block of West Lincoln Way.
3:10pm: As a result of a traffic stop at the intersection of 220th and North Grimmell Road, Shiv Bhakta of Urbandale was issued a citation for, “Violation of Financial Liability Coverage and Excessive Speed.”
4:00pm: Officers respond 406 North Maple Street for a welfare check. Everything was found to be okay.
7:43pm: Officers were requested at 777 Wild Rose lane for a patron refusing to leave after being asked to do so by Security Staff. The officer arrived and attempted to have the male leave, but he continued to be disorderly. The officer arrested Jeremy Erskine-Jamal Miller, 27 of Carroll for, “Disorderly Conduct – Simple and Simple Trespass.”
11:41pm: Richard Burkhardt reported the Theft of his pickup from 777 Wild Rose Lane. Staff reviewed video and learned Burkhardt had been dropped off at the Casino by a SUV and had not driven the truck there. The vehicle was located at his residence by the officer.
Monday, February 18th
12:32am: Travis Peterson reported a stray dog near Locust and Reed Streets. The officer did not locate the animal.
1:55pm: A Traffic Stop in the 1000 Block of West Adams Street resulted in Pamela Hulbert of Jefferson being cited for, “Fail to Have a Valid Driver’s License.”
2:19pm: A Traffic Stop was performed in the 100 Block of North Grimmell Road resulting in Preston Perin of Jefferson being cited for, “Driving While Suspended.”
2:38pm: A Traffic Stop was performed in the 700 Block of North Elm Street resulting in Julie Schlater of Boone being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
2:44pm: Susan Herrick requested a Welfare Check on her adult son and dogs at 407 South Olive Street.
5:52pm: A Traffic Stop was performed at Elm and Lincoln Way Streets resulting in Duane Holman of Ogden being cited for, “Operation without Registration.”
4:10pm: An officer assisted a motorist with engine trouble in the 200 Block of East Adams Street.
5:38pm: Bob Schwartz reported a water main break in the 100 Block of West Harrison Street.
10:52pm: An officer assisted a semi driver having mechanical issues at Elm and Lincoln Way Streets.
