Another commercial pesticide course will be held next week at the Greene County Extension office.

It will be on Seed Treatment and it will cover recognition of sensitive areas as potentially impacted by pesticides; pests, pest management, and pesticides; pesticide labels; and seed treatment equipment. The class will also include continuing instruction credit for pesticide application in categories four and ten. Those needing Certified Crop Advisor and Continuing Education Units are also encouraged to take the course.

It will be held from 9 to 11am on Wednesday, February 27th. Cost to participate is $35 on or before February 20th, otherwise it is $45 after the 20th. Call the Extension office in Jefferson at 386-2138 or stop by to sign up.
