Gilbert High School is the site of tonight’s Class 3A Substate 7 doubleheader featuring the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers boys basketball team (12-9 overall). ADM starts their playoff run in game one against the North Polk Comets (6-14 overall) of the Heart of Iowa Conference. The two future Raccoon River Conference foes met once in the regular season as ADM topped North Polk,63-45, in Adel on December 20. The Tigers enter the postseason with triple the win total from last season, recording 12 wins during the regular season. A more unselfish approach offensively has contributed to more victories, registering 126 more assists than all of last year during ADM’s 3-19 campaign.
