The Perry City Council will convene Tuesday evening for a regular session on a special night.

The meeting was moved to accommodate Monday being Presidents Day and all Perry City offices being closed. The first action item on the agenda is setting a public hearing for the presentation of the proposed fiscal year 2020 budget. The hearing will be set for Monday, March 4th at 6 p.m. during the regular meeting. Copies of the proposed budget will be available at the Perry Public Library and at City Hall.

In new business, the Council will consider a resolution authorizing the submittal of a Clean Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) loan application to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. The DNR offers loans through their Water Resources Restoration Sponsored Project program, and Perry plans to use the funds for the wastewater facility plant upgrade. The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Clarion Room at Perry City Hall.
