A slow first quarter start led to the end of the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers girls basketball team Saturday evening. ADM traveled to eastern Iowa for Class 4A Region 8 semifinal against the bracket’s top seed in the No. 3 ranked Grinnell Tigers. Grinnell jumped out to a 19-6 first-quarter lead, cruising to a 75-58 victory. ADM was only outscored, 56-52, the final three quarters. The loss ends the Tigers season at 15-9 overall, a six-win improvement from last year. ADM graduates four seniors from this years program, including Kristen Baier, Emma Jacobsen, Anna Kenny, and Grace McCartney.
