The deadline to submit nominations for this year’s Tower of Fame Award during the Bell Tower Festival is fast approaching.

The award honors an individual who at sometime in their life lived in Greene County and whose personal or professional accomplishments internationally, nationally or statewide bring great pride to Greene County. Since the inaugural year of the award in 1981, there’s been a long list of recipients that have stretched around the world. Previous nominations are kept on file and reviewed along with any new nominations that are submitted.

Any new nominations must be submitted by Monday, February 25th at 5pm to the Greene County Chamber and Tourism office in Jefferson. A copy of the nomination form can be found at the Chamber office or online by clicking the link below.

The 2019 award winner will be announced during the 40th Bell Tower Festival at the opening ceremonies on June 7th.
