Today’s start of the 2019 Iowa State Wrestling tournament will feature three first time state qualifiers from West Central Valley Community Schools. Senior Carson Wadle punched his ticket to Wells Fargo Arena last Saturday as the Class 1A District 2 champion at 195 pounds. Junior Justin Garica (126) and senior Cole Sackett (152) are joining Wadle as first state qualifiers after runner up performances last weekend at Interstate 35 High School. First round matches of the Class 1A tournament starts around 1:30 p.m. today from Des Moines.
