Tomorrow will be the next Greene County Extension Ag Coffee.
Extension Director Lori Mannel says the topic will be on the 2019 Ag Market Outlook. ISU Extension Farm Management Specialist Tim Christensen and Extension Human Science Specialist Dr. David Brown will lead the program. Mannel explains why Dr. Brown will be helping facilitate the discussion.
“We can’t control our commodity market prices unfortunately but it certainly impacts our bottom for our ag families and our ag organizations. So he’s going to be there and give you a few tips, talk about ways to take the stress out of ag marketing and Tim (Christensen) will have the numbers as well. So it’ll be a good tag team and something that’s slightly different than what he normally do.”
The free informal discussion will take place from 9:30 to 11am at the Extension office tomorrow. Free refreshments will be served and it is sponsored by Landus Cooperative.
