The wrath of Mother Nature is making fans of Panorama varsity basketball choose between playoff games tonight. Back-to-back nights of evening activities cancellations in Guthrie County are forcing supporters to pick between a playoff doubleheader in Stuart or the only home playoff game for the Panther girls basketball team. The Panorama boys basketball team drew the nightcap slot of the Class 2A District 13 tournament, squaring off against the West Central Valley Wildcats around 8 p.m. The AC/GC Chargers and the Mount Ayr Raiders start the postseason twin bill at 6:30 p.m. The Woodward-Granger Lady Hawks attempted to make the trek to Panora last night to face the Panthers in the Class 2A Region 7 quarterfinal. However, they couldn’t make it across Highway 141 as high winds whipped snow all across the county. Instead, the playoff opener for the Panorama girls basketball team is tonight at 7 p.m. The Racoon Valley Radio Network has the boys’ playoff doubleheader cover on our KKRF 2 stream at raccoonvalleyradio.com with pregame coverage around 6:15 p.m.
