Agricultural producers looking to manage revenue risks for the 2018 and 2019 crop seasons are invited to a public meeting held by ISU Extension and Outreach.

The meeting titled “Crop Marketing, Crop Insurance and the New Farm Bill” will take place Tuesday, February 19th at 6:30 p.m. at West Central Valley High School in Stuart. Extension Farm and Agriculture Business Management Specialist Steve Johnson says this meeting is to help landowners, tenants, and other agribusiness professionals understand current issues related to marketing crops, crop insurance and pending enrollment decisions in Farm Service Agency programs. No registration fee is required and this meeting is open to the public. For more information contact the Polk County Extension Office at 515-957-5760.
