9:02am: A deputy removed a deer from the roadway on 220th Street and J Avenue.

3:23pm: The Sheriff and deputies assisted with a semi vs car accident on 220th Street and M Avenue. The Jefferson Police Department, Iowa State Patrol, Jefferson Fire, and Greene County Ems responded. The drivers of both vehicles were taken by Greene County Ems to the Greene County Medical Center. The Iowa State Patrol investigated the accident.

4:57pm: A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 1000 block of Railroad Street, Grand Junction.

5:08pm: The Sheriff investigated a reported vehicle in the ditch on 220th Street and E Avenue. The vehicle was no longer present.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
