A Bayard man was given multiple citations following a two-vehicle collision that occurred Saturday morning.

According to the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office, 66-year-old William Henry Fetters was driving a Dodge Dakota that was eastbound on Highway 141 near Bayard at about 4:43 a.m. when his truck crossed the center line and struck a Chevrolet Lumina driven by 44-year-old Tricia Leigh Monthei of Jefferson. Both drivers were uninjured and a passenger of Fetters was transported by Panora Emergency Medical Services to Guthrie County Hospital with minor injuries. A field breathalyzer test was administered and Fetters’ blood alcohol content level was .084. Additional charges are possible pending completion of the investigation. Fetters was cited for driving on the wrong side of a two-way highway, and failure to provide proof of financial liability.
