The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.
The meeting will begin with the canvass of last week’s special election for the Perry School District’s bond referendum. Following that, the Board will approve the fiscal year 2019-20 County budget for publication, and set a time and date for a public hearing to present it to the public. The Supervisors will also set two more public hearings, for topics including: consideration of bids, plans and specifications, and form of contract for the central maintenance facility storage building for the Secondary Roads Department; and the designation of the 2019 Dallas County Economic Development urban renewal area and urban renewal plan.
Other items on the agenda include: a resolution approving compensation for township clerks and trustees; an update on the County’s hazard mitigation plan; a federal aid agreement for the 170th Street box beam bridge project; and the amended five-year road construction program. The meeting will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors meeting room, located at 902 Court Street in Adel.
