Dallas County Conservation is hosting an event this Wednesday, and its purpose is to quite simply allow the public to play with their toys.
Starting at 10 a.m., people of all ages are invited to come to the Forest Park Museum and Arboretum in Perry to learn about their indoor toys and games. The program will include discussion of the many unique historical toys and games that are included in the Forest Park Museum collection. Attendees will then get an opportunity to try out each of the toys and games, though they’re reminded that the items are mostly very old and should be handled with care. There is no cost to attend the program, and registration is not required.
