The 2019 Iowa High School Athletic Association State Wrestling tournament will feature three wrestlers from Adel-Desoto-Minburn Community Schools vying for individual championships. Seniors Andrew Flora (126), senior Nolan Harsh (182) and junior Kaden Sutton (220) all advanced back to Wells Fargo Arena after finishing either as the champion or runner up in their respective weight class at Saturday’s Class 2A District 1 tournament in Adel. Flora, Class 2A’s No. 1 grappler, claimed the district championship at 126 pounds, becoming a four-time state qualifier. Harsh, Class 2A’s No. 3 grappler, also won the district championship at 182 pounds, joining Flora as a four-time state qualifier. Sutton, a first-time state qualifier last winter, returns to Wells Fargo Arena as the runner up of the 220-pound weight class. Junior Brodrick Schmidt (152) and sophomore Justice Paulson (195) had their season end with fourth place finishes in their respective brackets.
