The Boone girls basketball team connected for 12 3-point baskets in routing the Jayettes 62-29 in Raccoon River conference action Tuesday night.  Boone open the game wide open late in the first quarter and early in the second as the Toreadors connected on 6-7 from behind the arc during one torrid stretch.  Madlyn Danner led the way with 16 points including four 3-point baskets.  Danner was also sensational on the defensive end providing stifling man to man defense on Perry star Molly Lutmer.  The junior Jayette finished with four points.  Quinn Whiton and Gabby West led Perry with 10 points each.  West just missed a double double after grabbing 9 rebounds.

Perry falls to 1-18 while Boone improves to 12-7.  The two teams will meet one more time next Wednesday in the opening round of regional play in Boone.
