A pair of sisters are among the bright spots in the scoring column this week for the West Central Valley varsity girls basketball team. Junior Michaela Jaeger started the week with three made three-point baskets in a 55-34 loss against Glidden-Ralston Monday night. Her younger sister, freshman Madelyn Jaeger, scored a team-best 10 points in a 65-26 setback Tuesday against Class 2A No. 7 Panorama. Senior Bailey Beckman poured in a game-high 21 points to help Panorama to their 18th win of the winter. The loss drops West Central Valley’s overall record to 4-14. The Wildcats girls basketball team resumes West Central Activites Conference play tomorrow night in Guthrie Center against the AC/GC Chargers.
