The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday.

The meeting began with an office update from County Attorney Brenna Bird. Next, the Board approved a payroll change notice for Secondary Roads Department employee James Jones, who successfully completed his six month probationary period. County Engineer Josh Sebern then gave a cost presentation on resurfacing Sage Trail, per the Lake Panorama Association’s request. The Board approved Sebern’s recommendation to move forward with restabilizing the existing road base, instead of a more costly option of doing a seal coat or making a concrete or asphalt pavement. Sebern’s initial estimate of restabilizing the base is between $30,000-$75,000. LPA General Manager John Rutledge told the Board he is happy to support this decision. Finally, the Board approved an elevator modernization contract of $62,965 with O’Keefe Elevator Company.
