2017 Greene County Impact Award winners

Everyone is encouraged to nominate individuals for the tenth annual Greene County Impact Award.

The award seeks to honor those who have contributed their time and talent, not only to a specific community, but to the entire county. It is for social, educational, or cultural contributions to the county as opposed to a business operation or work through an official position. Past honorees include: Lawrence Geisler, the Town and Country Band, Carson Griffith, Vickie and Tim Robbins, Doug Hawn, Alice Walters, Mary Weaver, Jim North, and Carla and Chuck Offenburger.

Nomination forms are available at each of the libraries in the county. Deadline to submit nominations is by March 30th. The 2018 winner will be announced on April 24th with a special ceremony for the recipient to be held in the Greene County Courthouse rotunda in May.
