Boone held Perry to just 6 points over three quarters in defeating the Bluejays 55-15 in Raccoon River Conference action Tuesday night. Boone carried a 22-9 lead into the second quarter and put the game away early in the period as the Toreadors opened up a 26 point halftime lead. Perry managed just two field goals the entire second half with Keeghan West and Carlos Calderon providing baskets. Calderon led Perry with 8 rebounds. Brendan Ivory scored 7 points and missed significant time in the second half with an apparent leg injury. Boone was led by Quali Sporaa’s 13 points. Perry falls to 0-17 while Boone improves to 11-6.
