Next weekend’s Class 1A District 2 tournament will see several Panorama Panther varsity wrestlers apart of the state qualifying event. Seven Panther grapplers finished in the top two of their bracket to continue their season for one more week. Winning their weight division in Guthrie Center was sophomore Logan Christe (113), sophomore Wyatt Appleseth (145), and senior Hunter Holmes (285). Advancing to next weekends district tournament as a second-place finisher includes senior Noah Kirtley (152), junior Emery Colby (160), senior Garrett Fox (170), and Cooper Anderson (182). The Class 1A District 2 tournament starts at 12 p.m. Saturday, February 9 at Interstate 35 High School in Truro.
