The Iowa High School Athletic Association released official Class 1A and 2A boys’ basketball district pairings. Greene County plays Southeast Valley (Gowrie) in the first game of a first round doubleheader in Ogden on Monday, Feb. 11 at 6:30 p.m. KG98 and streaming on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com will carry the Rams and Jaguars with coverage starting at 6 p.m. Ogden hosts Woodward Academy in game two on Feb. 11.

The two winners will advance to the District 12 semifinal on Thursday, Feb. 14 in Rockwell City. The Greene County/SEV winner meets top seeded South Central Calhoun on the Titans’ home floor around 8 p.m. Game one of Feb. 14 at 6:30 p.m. has Madrid meeting the Ogden/Woodward Academy winner. The district title game is set for Boone High School on Tuesday, Feb. 19 at 7 p.m.

The District 12 winner travels to Gilbert on Feb. 23 for the Substate 8 title game with a trip to the State Tournament on the line vs. the District 11 winner. Teams in District 11 include Dike-New Hartford, Sumner-Fredericksburg, East Marshall (Le Grand), Denver, West Marshall (State Center), and Columbus Catholic (Waterloo).
