The Guthrie County Arts Council’s annual dinner fundraiser is less than a week away for those who haven’t yet purchased tickets.

The fundraiser is happening Friday and will start with a wine and chocolate tasting at Art on State in Guthrie Center from 5-6 p.m. Dinner will follow at 6 p.m. across the street at Cabbage Rose Restaurant. Attendees will then get to enjoy a musical performance from four-time Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Bob Fields. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased at Art on State. Proceeds go to support the Council, whose mission is to encourage the talents of Guthrie County artists by providing means to display and sell their work, as well as creating an atmosphere of appreciation for the arts with different programs.
