Starting tomorrow, the Perry Public Library will be hosting a series of wellness workshops with the help of Dallas County ISU Extension and Outreach.

The program is called “What About Me?” and is a research-based, statewide program on personal well-being. Topics of discussion will include the impact of making positive choices, crucial keys to wellbeing, and developing a personal path to wellness. The workshops will be held each Friday in February at 9 a.m. in the library’s large meeting room. Themes for the individual events include: How to Find Time for Me; Emotional and Social Wellbeing; Managing Your Money; and Physical Wellbeing. A variety of information and resources will be available to attendees, which the library hopes will help them make informed decisions and meet personal goals.

“What About Me?” is free to attend, though space is limited so registration is required. To sign up, or for more information on this and other upcoming programs, stop in or call the Perry Library at 515-465-3569.
