For the first time in over a year, Greene County residents will get the opportunity to listen and address their state elected legislators.

“Coffee and Politics” returns this Saturday and it will be at the Thomas Jefferson Gardens Education and Welcome Center in Jefferson. District 24 State Senator Jerry Behn of Boone and District 47 State Representative Phil Thompson of Jefferson will be in attendance to give a brief update on the current topics in both chambers of the Iowa Congress. Attendees will also have an opportunity to ask their elected officials questions.

The free event will be this Saturday from 11am to noon. Coffee, juice and bars will be provided.
