The Guthrie Center School Board will convene for a special session Friday.

The Board is expected to approve the superintendent contract for Dennis McClain, who was announced as Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center’s hire Monday. McClain currently serves as the superintendent and elementary principal for the Clay Central Everly School District. McClain is expected to begin his AC/GC superintendent duties July 1st.

The Guthrie Center School Board will meet at 12 p.m. in the superintendent’s office.
