The junior point guard of the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers varsity girls basketball team (11-7 overall) is among the top scoring athletes in the Raccoon River Conference this winter.
Abbie Hlas is 18 games into her third varsity basketball season and is currently tied for second in the league in individual scoring with 239 points. Hlas and Perry junior Molly Lutmer have identical scoring outputs with the Jayettes playing three fewer games than the Tigers to this point. Bondurant-Farrar sophomore Avery Fried enters the day as the Raccoon River Conference’s top scorer with 249 points scored in 15 games played. Weather permitting, ADM and Bondurant-Farrar will close their season series tomorrow night in Adel.
