The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday.

The meeting began with a monthly update from David Garland of Guthrie Center Communications. Next, the Board discussed budget proposals for fiscal year 2020 from the County Attorney and Facilities Management. The Board also approved a resolution of support for the Iowa Prison Industries Affordable Home Program, and the fiscal year 2019 expenditure report from New Opportunities. Finally, the Board approved County library funding of $119,618 for fiscal year 2020, which was the same amount given as the previous year. The libraries had requested an additional $10,000 in funds. The meeting concluded with a fiscal year 2020 budget work session and discussion of county projects.
