Boys and girls in the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School District and their adult escorts are invited to take part in one of two special events this weekend.

The ADM After Prom Committee is hosting a Mother and Son Bowling Night and Daddy-Daughter Dance, both of which will be held Saturday evening. The bowling event is in its 4th year, with the lanes at the Adel Family Fun Center once again open to boys in kindergarten through 5th grade and the women in their lives. There are two time frames available during the event, with the first from 6-7:30 p.m., and the second from 7:30-9. Cost to attend is $20 per couple, plus $10 for each additional child, which can be paid at the door, though reservations are required and can be made by calling 515-993-3350.

The Daddy-Daughter Dance will also be Saturday, from 7-9 p.m. at the high school. It’s open to young ladies in kindergarten through 5th grade and their gentlemen escorts, with the cost being the same as the bowling event. RSVP’s are appreciated but not required, and payment can be made at the door. All proceeds from both events will go towards funding this year’s after prom festivities at ADM.
