1:54am: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with an arrest in the 600

block of South Locust Street. Thomas Langford 52 of Dana was arrested for operating while intoxicated 1st offense.

4:13am: Thomas Langford 52 of Dana was booked into the jail for operating while intoxicated 1st offense.

1:11pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on N Avenue near 110th Street.

11:29pm: A deputy investigated a car in the ditch on Highway 144 near V Avenue. Bryce Burkhardt 20 of Jefferson lost control of his 2014 Ford Focus after a deer ran out in front of him. There was no damage to the vehicle.

Wednesday, January 23rd

5:47am: A deputy investigated property damage in the area of Main Street East and 11th Street in Grand Junction.

7:06pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a welfare check in the 1200 block of Riverside Drive.

Thursday, January 24th

12:51am: A deputy investigated a car versus deer accident on 220th Street, east of the Raccoon River Bridge. Kyle McAleer (20) of Scranton, was traveling west on 220th Street when he struck the deer with front driver’s side of his vehicle. There was estimated $1,200 of damage to his 2009 Honda Civic. Vehicle was able to be driven away from the scene.

10:27am: A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 300 block of West Railroad Street in Grand Junction.

4:37pm Malay Thammathay (33) of Des Moines, was booked into the Greene County Jail for Trespass – 1st Offense.

5:49pm: A deputy assisted Iowa State Patrol and Greene County EMS with a single vehicle accident on 237th Street and Eureka Bridge.

8:23pm: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on 220th Street and C Avenue.

8:32pm: A deputy investigated a careless driving complaint on 220th Street, near the Boone County line.

Friday, January 25th

11:15am: Larry Dean Teeples (76) of Jefferson, was booked into the Greene County Jail for the charge of Extortion.

12:13pm: A deputy investigated a non-reportable accident in the 700 block of Lincoln Street in Scranton.

10:22pm: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on 144 Diagonal and V Avenue.

10:28pm: A deputy investigated a careless driving complaint on 220th Street and S Avenue.

Saturday, January 26th

3:11am: A deputy investigated a possible fire along Neola Avenue, between 270th and 280th Streets.

11:24am: A deputy investigated a theft complaint in the 600 block of 15th Street South in Grand Junction.

8:56pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint in the 500 block of Main Street West in Grand Junction.

11:41pm: A deputy investigated suspicious person’s complaint in the 300 block of I Avenue.

Sunday, January 27th

8:12am: A deputy responded to 237th Street, west of Raccoon River Bridge remove a deer out the roadway.

8:47am: A deputy investigated an unruly child call in the 200 block of Hager Street East in Grand Junction.

11:34am: A deputy responded to 220th Street and J Avenue to remove a deer from roadway.

11:47am: A deputy assisted with a civil matter in the 600 block of East Adams Street in Jefferson.

1:34pm: A deputy investigated a domestic disturbance in the 400 block of Hardin Street in Churdan.

2:50pm: A deputy investigated an assault complaint in the 100 block of Cartwright Street in Rippey.

6:46pm: A deputy investigated an animal neglect complain in the 200 block of 18th Street South in Grand Junction.

10:26pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a traffic stop in the 200 block of West State Street in Jefferson.

Monday, January 28th

1:32am: Elisha Marie Mischke (38) of Jefferson was booked into the Greene County Jail. She was charged with Interference with Official Acts, Provide False Identification Information, Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drug and False Report of Indictable Offense to Public Entity.

12:45pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 1400 block of M Avenue.

4:03pm: A deputy assisted with an animal custody issue in the 900 block of X Avenue.

4:14pm: A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in 1100 block of 290th Street.

6:21pm: Deputies and Jefferson Fire Department assisted Grand Junction Fire

Department with a residential fire in the 700 block of Railroad Street East in Grand

Junction. The residence suffered substantial damage.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
