Greene County Elementary parents are invited to a special evening event at the elementary school.

Principal Scott Johnson says a Family Night event will take place this Thursday from 5 to 7pm. The event is intended to give parents and their children a chance to enjoy a night without electronics. There will be basketball in the gym, plus board games, bingo, card games and other fun activities planned. Free food will be served with hot dogs, chips, cookies and water available. Johnson notes this new event will be followed by another community activity with the popular “Muffins and Math” coming up in March.

No pre-registration is necessary for Thursday’s Family Night, and all elementary students and their parents and guardians are welcomed to attend.
